I'm Alice, a London based food stylist and recipe developer. I’m a self-taught cook and baker, focusing on vegetarian and plant-focused cooking that follows the seasons.
I've been working in the food industry for over eight years, following my graduation from London College of Fashion with a BA in womenswear. Swapping scissors for a spatula and donning an apron, I channeled my creativity into my passion for food. I began my career in the touring industry, catering on music tours with shows including Robbie Williams, Arctic Monkeys, Lorde and Flight of the Concords. In 2019 I founded Lovely Buns, a plant-based bakery, that produced buns, cookies and bespoke occasion/wedding cakes for clients within London and across the UK. During the pandemic I expanded the business, moving from my home-kitchen to a unit in East London. After three years in business, it became apparent my creativity had gone astray, and I felt it was time for a new creative direction.
Since embarking on this new chapter, I've assisted several fantastic food stylists on TV, commercial, editorial, and advertising projects. I've also collaborated with photographers on various food styling projects, which you can explore here. Additionally, I've developed recipes for cookbooks, websites, and social media content, as well as catered for supper clubs, retreats, and private events.
